Return Policy

TexasLEDLightings.com is committed to providing customers with an excellent shopping experience. We stand behind the quality of our products and want our customers to be fully satisfied with their purchases. If you are not satisfied with your product, you may request a return for a refund within 30 days of the invoice date.

To initiate a return, submit a request online via the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) link, or contact your Account Manager or our Customer Service Department.

All returns must be pre-approved by TexasLEDLightings.com and accompanied by a copy of the RMA form provided upon approval. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in new condition, with return shipping prepaid by the customer. Damages occurring during return shipping are not eligible for credit and must be claimed with the shipping carrier. TexasLEDLightings.com reserves the right to apply a restocking fee to all returns, including unauthorized or unusual cases. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Special order items, including fixtures, are not eligible for return.

Manufacturer’s Warranties

Many products sold by TexasLEDLightings.com include a manufacturer’s warranty, which can be found in the Specifications section of each product listing. After 30 days, customers are responsible for the shipping cost of warranty replacements. Please note that a manufacturer’s stated Average Rated Life Hours is not a guarantee or warranty.

Supplemental Warranty

We offer a 30-day supplemental warranty on products not covered by a factory warranty, unless labeled as Special Handling, Special Order, or Non-Stock. This warranty allows for replacement of the original item within 30 days of the invoice date. TexasLEDLightings.com will cover the shipping costs for the replacement. A restocking fee may apply.

Non-Warranted or Special Handling Products

Certain product categories are excluded from our supplemental warranty due to their complexity, customization, or short life span. Please read the notes below carefully before purchasing:

  • Ballasts: All ballasts are first-quality and factory-tested. Most reported defects are caused by improper installation. Ballasts should only be installed by a licensed electrician. Ballasts include factory warranties and may need to be returned for inspection before credit is issued. The customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • Holiday & Christmas Lighting: Incandescent decorations and lights are covered by our 30-day warranty. LED holiday lights are covered for 90 days from the invoice date. No Christmas product returns are accepted after December 24 of the purchase year.
  • Grow Lighting & Hydroponics: Final sale — not eligible for return. Please consult your Account Manager before ordering to ensure proper product selection.
  • Fixtures: Considered special order — not eligible for return. Consult an Account Manager prior to purchase for assistance.
  • Rope Lighting: Returnable only if uncut and in new condition. Must be installed by a licensed electrician.
  • Special Order, Discontinued & Non-Stock Items: Final sale — not eligible for return. These may incur significant vendor restocking fees. Contact your Account Manager for guidance before ordering.
  • Stage & Studio Bulbs: Often have very short life spans (e.g., 25–75 hours). May not be covered by our supplemental warranty.

Damaged Shipments

We ship glass products globally and take pride in our careful packaging and low breakage rate. If you receive a damaged item, notify TexasLEDLightings.com within 7 days of receipt. A photo may be required to file a damage claim. Do not refuse the package — inspect it and contact us immediately. We will file the carrier claim and arrange a refund or replacement.

If a replacement involves products that are only shipped in case quantities (e.g., fluorescent tubes), a new full-case order must be placed. You will be credited for the damaged portion only, with no additional shipping fees.
